Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a data analytics intern to focus on datacenter telemetry information analysis and reporting. The intern will work with a team dedicated to large scale datacenter development and deployment, utilizing machine learning tools to provide insights on GPU accelerated data centers. This role involves collaborating with researchers and developers to enhance workflows and optimize performance. The intern will also engage in research and analysis to support intelligent data-based decision making.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in Python.
  • Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks.
  • Understanding of core machine learning techniques and concepts.
  • Demonstrated debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Linux based operating systems, Python, Bash, and C/C++.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing large scale workloads and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a Machine Learning algorithm for classification and prediction.
  • Deliver actionable insights by analyzing telemetry data and applying machine learning.
  • Research and analyze data to identify trends and link changes to recorded events.
  • Work closely with a mentor to learn about analysis needs and communicate findings.
  • Document work and related materials to support future contributions.
