Job description

The Analyst/Associate role in Prime Services focuses on delivering financing, clearing, and risk management solutions to hedge funds and institutional clients. This position serves as the primary contact for client relationships, enhancing the client experience through effective communication and problem-solving. Analysts and Associates will gain exposure to front-office activities and develop skills necessary for senior client-facing roles. The role combines technical product knowledge with client interaction and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial services, operations, or capital markets is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines is required.
  • Series 7, 63, and SIE licenses are required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day management of hedge fund and institutional client relationships.
  • Respond to client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and assist with follow-ups.
  • Monitor client portfolios, including leverage, margin, and financing exposures.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies.
  • Support delivery of insights to improve client transparency and decision-making.
  • Develop working knowledge of securities financing, derivatives, and clearing solutions.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to expand client engagement across products.
  • Support onboarding and adoption of internal reporting and trading platforms.
  • Partner with trading, legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver client solutions.
  • Support onboarding and ensure smooth execution of new account setups.
  • Assist with time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment.
