The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) for Front End Engineering will lead and support the delivery of user interfaces and web applications. This role involves close collaboration with software engineers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend teams to ensure projects are executed smoothly and meet quality standards. The EPM will manage project scope, schedules, and resources while facilitating team meetings. The focus is on driving engineering excellence and improving processes to enhance developer efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives as a Technical Program Manager (TPM), Engineering Program Manager (EPM), or Engineering Lead.
- Certifications in Scrum (CSM), Agile, or Project Management (PMP) are a plus.
- Proven ability to drive multi-year, multi-team programs that require both customer and technical focus.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and architecture.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end project management of front end deliverables.
- Define project scope, create detailed schedules, and manage resources.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX concepts.
- Align API integrations and data dependencies with Backend Engineering.
- Communicate project status, risks, and scope changes to leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish and refine processes that improve efficiency, quality, and developer velocity.
