The Senior System Software Engineer will join NVIDIA's Automotive Team to develop innovative and secure automotive systems. This role focuses on system software development for Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and ARM architecture, utilizing formal methods to enhance software quality. The engineer will work on NVIDIA's DRIVE platform, contributing to the future of autonomous vehicle technology. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and tackle complex problems in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in system software architecture and development for real-time embedded systems
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and operating system fundamentals
• Experience in designing and developing solutions for complex system problems
• Strong C and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with performance analysis and system analyzer tools
• Hands-on background with debugging tools
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

• Architect, design and develop safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) compliant system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles
• Architect, design and develop Real Time System Software features for NVIDIA Tegra SOC
• Design and develop I/O Virtualization solutions for NVIDIA Tegra SOC
• Conduct development and bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC
• Collaborate with ASIC teams to enhance software performance and virtualization support in the SOC
• Extensively use formal methods to architect and develop high integrity software
• Design debugging solutions and tooling to improve developer experience on DRIVE platform
• Develop workflows and tools to measure system software performance
