Job description
In this role, you will contribute to the AI & Data Platforms team within Apple's Information Systems and Technology organization. The team focuses on AI-powered innovation, integrating data, application development, and machine learning to enhance solutions across Apple. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure efficient platform utilization and feature availability. Your work will shape the future of the platform and impact Apple customers directly.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Strong CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, system design, and programming
- Extensive experience designing and implementing large, highly interactive applications using modern JS frameworks
- Hands-on experience building facade/webapp and API data aggregation services using Java, Spring, Node, or Express
- Deep knowledge of development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and automation testing
- Good sense of pixel-perfect design and UX
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- MS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a related STEM field is preferred
- Experience with web accessibility standards is a plus
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge and creativity to build the next generation of the AI and ML platform
- Work closely with software and ML engineers to optimize platform utilization
- Collaborate with back-end services engineers for integration and with infrastructure and DevOps engineers for customer support
- Help shape the future and roadmap of the platform
- Drive engineering excellence and culture within the team
