Job description

This role is for a senior software engineer in the Compiler team for AWS Neuron, focusing on building the next generation Neuron compiler to optimize ML models for AWS Inferentia and Trainium. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing compiler features and optimizations.
  • Proficiency in C++ or Python.
  • Experience with LLVM and/or MLIR.
  • Experience in LLM, Vision, or other deep-learning models.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions for the Neuron compiler.
  • Collaborate with chip architects, runtime engineers, and ML application teams to deploy ML models on AWS accelerators.
  • Create compiler optimization and verification passes to enhance performance and stability.
  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work in a startup-like environment focusing on critical tasks and projects.
