This role is for a senior software engineer in the Compiler team for AWS Neuron, focusing on building the next generation Neuron compiler to optimize ML models for AWS Inferentia and Trainium. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- 3+ years of experience in developing compiler features and optimizations.
- Proficiency in C++ or Python.
- Experience with LLVM and/or MLIR.
- Experience in LLM, Vision, or other deep-learning models.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions for the Neuron compiler.
- Collaborate with chip architects, runtime engineers, and ML application teams to deploy ML models on AWS accelerators.
- Create compiler optimization and verification passes to enhance performance and stability.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in a startup-like environment focusing on critical tasks and projects.
