This role focuses on driving technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing and future technology at Intel. The team is dedicated to providing process integration and equipment solutions while performing feasibility studies to meet device specifications. The position requires collaboration with key suppliers and the development of roadmaps for future technologies. Candidates will lead the design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes to support innovative device architectures.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a semiconductor related STEM field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years, or a Bachelor's degree with 9+ years.
- Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong command of plasma etch fundamentals.
- Demonstrated record of delivering dry etch process solutions.
- Proven ability to lead technical problem solving across projects.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies.
- Experience working with advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive technology development and enablement for high volume manufacturing.
- Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
- Perform pathfinding activities in support of process and hardware development.
- Recommend and implement modifications for operating equipment to improve production efficiency.
- Partner with key equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technology elements.
- Perform process technology feasibility studies through theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods.
- Remain updated on industrial process and material manufacturing trends.
