Job description

The role of MDCE/LTD Semiconductor Senior Process Integration Development Engineer at Intel involves leading scientific research to enable the manufacture of innovative device architectures. The team focuses on delivering process technology innovation to support Intel's product roadmap. Engineers will design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications while integrating complex microprocessor manufacturing steps. Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field of study.
  • 4+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Semiconductor processing, Semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.
  • Participate in the development of intellectual property.
  • Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
  • Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate that the technology meets requirements while transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing.
