Job description

The Engineering Planning Analyst will be part of the New Product Development Planning team, which is essential for transitioning products from design to high-volume manufacturing. This role involves optimizing supply plans and ensuring timely delivery of products while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The analyst will utilize data analysis and advanced analytics to drive decision-making and improve processes. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or 3-4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience in demand/supply planning or supply chain management within a high-technology environment.
  • Experience with supply chain modeling, optimization tools, or statistical/analytics software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced Excel skills and experience in data management and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination and startup activities for product lines to ensure a seamless transition from engineering development to production.
  • Develop and execute optimized supply plans by integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Monitor product flow to ensure delivery commitments are met on time and in the correct quantity.
  • Create supply forecasts and perform what-if scenario analyses to support decision-making.
  • Drive product setup activities, including product naming and Bill of Materials creation.
  • Align and validate engineering and marketing sample demand against supply forecasts.
  • Consolidate, organize, and present critical data to support downstream planning activities.
  • Analyze manufacturing risks, capacity utilization, inventory levels, and customer demand.
  • Apply advanced analytics and optimization modeling to identify trends and develop effective supply strategies.
  • Collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders across global teams.
