Job description

The role is for a passionate and highly motivated applied Machine Learning Engineer on the Apple Store Online team. This team is responsible for delivering a magical digital shopping experience for customers. The focus is on researching and developing algorithms for product search, recommendation systems, and personalization. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other machine learning engineers to build scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong machine learning background and proven software development skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Hands-on experience with building data processing pipelines and large scale machine learning systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Understanding of the machine learning model lifecycle from prototyping to continuous improvements.

Responsibilities
