Job description
The iPhone team is seeking experienced Hardware Design Engineers who are passionate about making impactful design decisions that enhance the user experience for millions of iPhone users. Requirements
- BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering including analog and high-speed digital design
- Broad experience across different applications and technologies
- Proven track record of leading dynamic multi-functional teams
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult or intermittent hardware issues
- Familiarity with schematic capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout
- Knowledge of signal and power integrity fundamentals
- Experience with low voltage power regulation and delivery
- Ability to use scripting languages to assist with hardware development
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and integration of custom hardware into constrained systems
- Collaborate daily with multi-functional technology teams
- Drive system-level issues to closure in a team-based environment
- Analyze solutions and make system design trade-offs
- Prototype design and validation with custom silicon
- Address unwanted coupling and interference between subsystems
