Job description
Join the engineering team focused on testing software and frameworks for Apple's next generation human interface devices. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience programming in Python and one other object-oriented programming language such as Objective C, Swift, or Java.
- Experience in testing and debugging UI frameworks.
- Skilled in bug hunting and identifying regressions.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and scheduling systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services and data processing.
- MS or PhD in Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related degrees.
- Knowledge of Mac systems and MacOS/iOS or UNIX variants.
- Previous experience with software measurement tools to analyze performance and memory usage.
Responsibilities
- Test software and frameworks used for developing human interface devices.
- Interface with low-level software to provide data to processing pipelines.
- Independently follow up on bugs and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Discuss technical problems with other quality engineers, development partners, and program managers.
- Adapt to uncertain and rapid project schedules while maximizing testing time.
- Innovate and incorporate continuous improvement in testing methods.
