Job description

The Software Engineer role in the AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team focuses on building and owning internal services that monitor security and compliance attributes of key infrastructure. The team is multidisciplinary, consisting of software engineers, security engineers, and compliance specialists, and aims to exceed security expectations globally. This position offers the opportunity to solve complex engineering and business problems while working with diverse data sources. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Build and own internal services that identify and monitor security and compliance-relevant attributes.
  • Scale security and compliance assessments of AWS services.
  • Expand the ability to continuously monitor key security functions.
  • Interact with business partners to automate business outcomes.
  • Contribute to solving complex engineering problems.
