Job description

The role is focused on managing and modernizing Apple's SAP environment through the SAP Landscape Modernization initiative. The Enterprise Systems team is responsible for the continuous operation and evolution of one of the largest SAP deployments in the world, supporting critical business functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE methodologies and a strong ability to solve complex issues creatively. This position requires collaboration across various teams to ensure system scalability, availability, and performance.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE, build/release/deployment automation.
  • 5 years of experience in improving CI/CD tools, processes, and procedures.
  • 5 years of experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • 5 years of experience in Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, Redis, and other in-memory technologies is an added advantage.
  • 5 years of experience in Oracle database and PL/SQL is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
  • Good understanding of micro-services architecture.
  • Experience with container-based technologies such as EKS, GKE, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53.
  • Demonstrated ability to write programs using high-level programming languages or scripting, such as Java, JS, Python, Shell, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex Unix/Linux systems environment and applications implementations.
  • Experience with logging infrastructure and using tools such as Splunk.
  • Ability to build tools from scratch when needed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating across many participating teams.
