Job description

As an ITS Support Engineer at Amazon, you will be part of a dynamic IT Services team focused on providing exceptional technical support to corporate employees. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues while ensuring seamless operations across various teams. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies such as AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
  • 2+ years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user high availability environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.
  • 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
  • 2+ years of networking experience including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting corporate Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
  • 2+ years of experience maintaining a corporate network environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of computer networking experience.
  • Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site, high quality, hands-on support diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues successfully.
  • Assist with activities to triage and escalate system or network outages to reduce downtime.
  • Understand and execute change management activities in a high availability environment.
  • Participate with partner teams and vendors on continuous improvement projects.
  • Effectively manage and oversee IT asset inventories.
  • Participate in hiring efforts, training, and developing peers and new team members as a mentor.
  • Continuously expand skills and maintain knowledge of IT policies to provide technically accurate solutions.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call duty for isolated high-severity incidents.
