The Network Implementation Engineer will be responsible for executing the deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks globally. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including Technical Program Managers and Network Engineers, to ensure successful network installations. The engineer will focus on building reliable and scalable networks to support Google's customers. The position requires oversight of installation technicians and technical leadership during deployment activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in DWDM or TCP/IP or system design operations methodology.
• Experience working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications environment.
• Experience interpreting and validating deployment packages to verify design accuracy.

• Oversee and ensure quality assurance of installation technicians for networking equipment.
• Commission and test routers, optical transport equipment, and other network devices.
• Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership during deployment activities.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to identify potential problems in network installations.
• Maintain and update network documentation, drawings, and plans.
