The Senior Staff Hardware Engineer will lead the development of networking systems from initial concepts through deployment and field support. This role is part of the Networking Hardware team, which focuses on hardware design, mechanical design, thermal design, software, manufacturing, and field support. The position requires physical interaction with hardware equipment in a simulated data center environment. The engineer will work closely with various teams to deliver systems that enable the overall data center network.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience working in a hardware systems design and development technical environment.
• 5 years of experience in technical leadership.
• Experience with enterprise networking system development and production.

• Lead system and hardware design on data center networking hardware solutions.
• Lead systems bring up and execution of engineering validation in the lab.
• Gather requirements, define architecture, execute hardware design and product validation.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to produce designs and field support.
• Drive products from concept to production, and support products in the field.
