As a Field Applications Engineer at KLA, you will act as the primary technical interface between KLA and its customers, focusing on the deployment and adoption of overlay metrology solutions. This role requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. You will lead customer engagements and cultivate strong relationships by understanding their technical needs. Your work will involve collaboration with internal teams and customers to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer success.
Requirements
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience or Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in semiconductor fabrication is preferred.
- Experience coding in a technical language such as Python or Matlab is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical interface between KLA and customers.
- Deliver applications support for KLA’s overlay metrology tools at customer fabrication facilities.
- Lead customer engagements including product evaluations and new tool introductions.
- Drive customer success by conducting acceptance tests and recipe development.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships by understanding their technical needs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to co-author technical papers.
- Develop and share Best Known Methods (BKMs) and technical documentation.
- Act as a cross-functional bridge to align customer feedback with engineering and sales.
- Analyze complex technical issues and deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.
- Report regional insights and escalate field issues to product divisions.
