Job description
Apple is seeking a candidate for display hardware development and validation for next-generation products and future display technology. This role involves managing new display technology development and implementing technology platforms into final products. The individual will work with a diverse team and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize system performance and validate designs. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in display hardware development, validation, or research in a related field such as optics or photonics.
- Expertise in at least 1-2 of the following fields: optics, physics, electrical engineering, optical components, image processing, machine learning, or computer science.
- Deep understanding of display technologies including TFT, LED, OLED, and optical fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in statistical tools, programming languages, and optical simulators.
- Hands-on experience in high volume mass production consumer electronics.
Responsibilities
- Manage new display technology development and drive implementation of technology platforms.
- Involve in system modeling to assist in design and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to understand design tolerances and optimize performance.
- Validate system designs through engineering builds and design of experiments.
- Travel overseas as required.
