Job description

The Find My team is focused on creating a seamless and secure experience for users to locate their devices and share their location with others. As an engineer on this team, you will work in a fast-paced environment alongside motivated professionals to develop new features that impact millions of users. The role emphasizes innovation and collaboration across various disciplines, including hardware and software. Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, and concurrency.
  • Experience in building high-scale backend distributed systems using public cloud technologies.
  • Strong Java expertise, including Core Java, Multithreading, and non-blocking IO.
  • Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests using tools like Jest, Playwright, and Cypress.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with AI for software development and maintenance, including machine learning systems and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and build and deployment tools like Maven, Docker, Spinnaker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD tools integration and full automation testing.
  • Experience with building rich websites that function well across various browsers.
  • Experience with large TypeScript codebases organized into components.
  • Experience collaborating with designers to build standout user interfaces.
  • Experience in communication with RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile, critical projects.
