Your role will involve collaborating with skilled RFIC design and layout engineers to tackle layout challenges and improve methodologies. You will work on custom RF and analog IP layouts in advanced CMOS technology nodes, ensuring high-frequency circuits meet design requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of next-generation wireless products to millions of users.
Requirements
- 1+ year minimum related experience in RFIC layout design
- Solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, IR drop, ESD, latch-up, and coupling
- Experience in custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers with knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
- High-level proficiency in interpretation of Calibre DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFET technology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed custom block layout including floorplanning, placement, routing, and verification for high-frequency RF circuits
- Verify and refine layouts through simulation to meet design requirements
- Diagnose sophisticated verification and PDK issues using Cadence and Calibre
- Craft custom layouts at the chip, block, and device levels, particularly for RF high-frequency circuits
- Implement layout techniques for device matching, minimizing parasitics, RF shielding, and high-frequency routing
