Requirements

  • Experience using Verilog and System Verilog for IC verification.
  • Proficiency in C and C++ for creating reference models of designs.
  • Knowledge of digital design and verification for testing and debugging.
  • Familiarity with Computer Architecture and its application to soft IP cores.
  • Experience with scripting languages like PERL or Python.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a bug-free first silicon for parts of the SoC/IP.
  • Develop detailed test and coverage plans based on micro-architecture.
  • Create a verification methodology suitable for the IP.
  • Design and execute feature verification plans including design bring-up.
  • Develop block, IP, and SoC level test-benches.
  • Track and report design verification progress using various metrics.
  • Develop a mixed-signal simulation environment and collaborate with the analog team.
