Job description

This role is part of the Intelligent Talent Acquisition (ITA) team at Amazon, focusing on transforming the hiring process through advanced technology and data insights. The Hiring Intelligence, Science & Experimentation (HIRISE) team specifically aims to create personalized products and online assessments that enhance candidate evaluation. The position involves leading the development of core product features and driving system architecture to improve hiring analytics at scale. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to solve complex hiring challenges.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and launch of core product features to help with processing analytics at scale
  • Have significant influence on overall strategy by helping define product features
  • Drive the system architecture
  • Spearhead best practices that enable a quality product
