Job description

The Software Development Engineer role in the Customer Journey team at Amazon focuses on enhancing customer service through innovative technology solutions. The team is dedicated to improving customer experiences by leveraging AI and machine learning to optimize contact center systems. This position involves collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to design and build technologies that streamline customer interactions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design and bring innovative products to market.
  • Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
  • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support the services owned by the software team.
