The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will lead geotechnical tasks and project delivery for various medium- to large-scale civil infrastructure projects, primarily in the water and transportation sectors. This role involves mentoring junior staff and collaborating with a large interdisciplinary design team. The engineer will engage with clients and support business development efforts while advancing the technical capabilities of the geotechnical group. The position offers opportunities to follow projects from concept development through construction.

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• M.S/Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering
• 15 years of geotechnical consulting experience with a focus on design-build transportation projects
• PE license
• 10 or more years of geotechnical design experience in the dams market preferred

• Mentor less experienced staff in geotechnical engineering practices
• Lead the development and implementation of geotechnical data collection programs
• Conduct geotechnical analyses and prepare technical reports
• Develop contract documents and provide support during project construction
• Interact with clients and assist in business development efforts
