Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
- PE, Professional Engineer license preferred
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of buildings
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash studies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Packages, Smartplant, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu
Responsibilities
- Engineer and design facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and equipment specifications
- Evaluate system goals and develop, design, and select required equipment or power/controls
- Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications
- Direct activities to ensure construction and operational testing conform to specifications and standards
- Maintain effective communication with project team members and customers
- Perform tier reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy and conformance to codes and specifications
