Job description

The Senior Manager in EY's Digital Risk practice will lead risk, compliance, and control transformation for technology, media, and telecommunications companies. This role focuses on cloud-native, AI-enabled, and platform-based operating models, requiring expertise in SOX, cloud architecture, and modern software development. The position is based in San Francisco and involves collaboration with senior stakeholders to embed scalable, audit-ready frameworks in complex environments. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and manage multiple Digital Risk engagements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Digital Risk, IT risk, or technology consulting, specifically in the TMT sector.
  • Strong hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, microservices architectures, and DevOps/CI-CD.
  • Experience designing and assessing IT general controls and automated controls in modern environments.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of Digital Risk engagements across cloud platforms and AI-enabled development environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering executive presentations and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive business development, engagement performance, and team leadership, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert on cloud, platform, and engineering risk considerations.
  • Design and evaluate controls across DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed platforms.
