Job description

The Senior Consultant role in EY's Digital Risk practice focuses on supporting technology, media, and telecommunications companies as they adopt cloud-native and AI-enabled operating models. This position is based in the Bay Area and involves working with high-growth technology organizations on risk, compliance, and control activities. The consultant will engage with clients to design and implement scalable risk and compliance frameworks within complex technology environments. The role requires a strong foundation in SOX, cloud environments, and software development practices.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT risk, Digital Risk, or technology consulting.
  • Hands-on experience or exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with microservices and distributed architectures.
  • Basic understanding of control frameworks like SOX and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Execute activities across cloud platforms, microservices architectures, and AI-enabled development environments.
  • Support engagement teams by collaborating with client stakeholders to deliver clear and actionable outputs.
  • Perform analysis and documentation of IT controls, processes, and system environments.
  • Contribute to the design and evaluation of controls across DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC/PDLC processes.
  • Manage individual tasks and deliverables, ensuring accountability for deadlines and quality.
