The Associate, Software Engineering role at Goldman Sachs involves developing and maintaining software solutions to support global business operations. • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and one year of experience in a software engineering role, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields and two years of experience.
• Experience with C++ or Java.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Experience building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within a Unix environment.
• Familiarity with programming technologies including Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with relational database management systems such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Knowledge of micro-services architecture design and development, including REST and Spring.
• Proficiency in database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.

• Assist in requirements gathering and user story refinement.
• Conduct development, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment.
