Job description

The Health Technologies team at Apple is focused on developing innovative technologies for health, wellness, and fitness products. This role seeks a motivated electrical engineer to work within a collaborative and inclusive environment. Requirements

  • MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience with sensors and related circuitry
  • Experience creating health devices or measuring biological signals
  • Proficiency with Python or similar simulation and modeling tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to focus down to the details
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to drive what matters
  • Proficiency with analog design, signal processing, and embedded circuits
  • Experience with user study design and data analysis

Responsibilities

  • Investigate the feasibility of new features for future products
  • Evaluate and develop new sensor technologies
  • Design user studies that answer key questions
  • Develop system models, including physiology and sensor systems
  • Create prototype circuits and systems
  • Analyze data from bench-top and user studies
  • Regularly create technical presentations for executive and cross-functional briefings
