• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 3 years of experience utilizing C and C++.
• 3 years of experience developing drivers in a pre-silicon environment.
• 3 years of experience translating hardware data sheets into software.
• 3 years of experience in embedded software development, low-level firmware development, kernel development, and debugging.
• 3 years of experience working with hardware business protocols including I2C, I2S, and SPI.
• 3 years of experience utilizing kernel and low-level device driver development.

• Design and implement audio driver software for new Apple products.
• Develop all aspects of audio drivers for Mac and Apple headphones.
• Collaborate with the Audio Software team to contribute to Mac OS software products.
• Work with silicon vendors to define new audio codecs for speakers and headphones.
• Debug and support prototype audio hardware and software.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to debug and isolate difficult driver and kernel issues.
• Perform kernel-level debugging using compilers, linkers, and source code management utilities.
• Utilize knowledge of multi-core embedded hardware systems and RTOS to maintain existing drivers and bring up new audio hardware.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation.
