Job description

This position is for a Front-End Engineer within the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization, focusing on developing a new Generative AI application. Requirements

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 1+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
  • 1+ years of experience with agile software development methodology.
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver software components and improvements to software features with your team’s software.
  • Work with stakeholders and product partners to deliver high-quality user experience.
  • Take feature specifications and deliver working code that is maintainable and extendable.
  • Help provide operational support for your team and work to ensure that root causes are identified and resolved.
  • Participate in code reviews and daily stand-ups.
  • Collaborate with your team to positively impact the software quality, customer experience, and maintainability of your team’s products.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture/design/working software solutions by working with PM, UX designers, and customers.
  • Code and test system components; participate in code and design reviews.
  • Demonstrate ownership of end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests, and integration.
  • Partner and collaborate across teams and roles to deliver results.
  • Be responsible for overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Mentor other engineers, define the technical culture, and help grow the team.
