The Associate Experience (AE) team at Amazon is looking for a Software Development Engineer to innovate customer service solutions using AI technologies. This role involves end-to-end ownership of software development, focusing on enhancing the experience of Customer Service Associates (CSAs) and customers alike. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions while mentoring junior engineers. The position emphasizes operational excellence and the creation of AI-powered products that improve customer interactions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions for Amazon's Customer Service Associates (CSAs).
- Contribute significantly to the full software development lifecycle including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Create and optimize AI-powered solutions that detect and resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across product, UX, and operations teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps.
