Job description

The AirPods Firmware team is seeking an enthusiastic engineer to contribute to the development of the audio platform for Apple's consumer audio products. This individual contributor role focuses on architecting and developing key technologies that manage data and system states. The position requires collaboration with a cross-functional team to innovate and improve product quality. Candidates should be passionate about technology and possess strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • BS or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of proven excellence in firmware, embedded software, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with MCUs, software architecture, feature development, and memory & CPU constrained software environments
  • Solid C/C++ coding abilities
  • Strong software debugging skills
  • Passion for product ownership and a track record of product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of real-time audio or Bluetooth technologies
