  • Coursework and/or practical experience with scripting for automation and data visualization
  • Coursework and/or practical experience with network-on-chip architecture and design is a big plus
  • Experience with Cellular/5G modem architecture
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of on-chip communication interconnect and memory Quality-of-Service features.
  • Create a full-chip C++ simulator for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Watch SoCs.
  • Model new and emerging workloads such as Augmented Reality and Machine Learning.
  • Study a range of performance and power trade-offs in the SoCs.
  • Present results and findings to drive architecture improvements.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
