Job description

As a Cellular System Engineer, you will engage in the architecture stages and collaborate with various teams to design, implement, verify, validate, and productize sophisticated transceiver architectures. This role focuses on both pre- and post-silicon bring-up and validation of end-to-end cellular systems. You will leverage your strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing to innovate new wireless systems technologies. Your work will help push the industry boundaries and improve product experiences for customers worldwide.

Requirements

  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C/C++ for analysis and automation scripting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a multi-functional environment.
  • MSEE or beyond is preferred.
  • Experience in the design and bring-up of wireless communication systems, particularly cellular systems.
  • Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G) physical layer and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques on real-world data sets.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in architecture stages for cellular systems.
  • Design, implement, verify, validate, and productize transceiver architectures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-silicon bring-up and validation of cellular systems.
  • Map systems algorithms and requirements to HW/FW architecture.
  • Perform simulation and emulation-based validation of control flows and algorithms.
  • Utilize lab equipment effectively for bringing up real silicon.
