Job description
The Display Hardware team is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation displays for Mac products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in mixed-signal EE design at either IC or PCB level.
- Proficiency in simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB.
- Experience with design and analysis in power electronics, analog/digital circuits, or high-speed signal integrity.
- Hands-on experience in hardware prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
- Familiarity with full ECAD workflow for schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM generation.
- Skills in scripting, factory data processing, or test automation, with programming experience in Python, Shell script, or MATLAB.
- Experience in consumer electronics and high-volume production.
- Knowledge of modern display technologies such as LCD, TFT, OLED, and LED.
Responsibilities
- Develop factory test plans and manage manufacturer partners for data collection.
- Analyze large-scale data to ensure product quality and performance.
- Communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams.
- Conduct EE validation and characterization tasks using lab equipment and test automation.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced and highly collaborative work environment.
