Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a creative automation engineer with strong Python skills to improve software quality through testing and automation. The successful candidate will work on building and maintaining Python-based automation frameworks while using AI development tools to enhance test creation. This role focuses on developing automation, tools, and test coverage for NVIDIA software products, particularly the NVIDIA App. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

  • B.E./B. Tech degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development, test automation, or software quality engineering experience.
  • Strong programming experience in Python, including object-oriented programming and automation framework development.
  • Hands-on experience building or maintaining automated tests, test tools, or automation infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems, PC architecture, and troubleshooting workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Python for NVIDIA app and related technologies.
  • Use AI development tools to accelerate automation development and test generation.
  • Build and improve automation framework components and utilities for reliable test execution.
  • Translate product documentation into test plans and targeted validation for complex scenarios.
  • Debug automation failures and product defects to identify root causes.
  • Write maintainable and well-documented Python code and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and leadership teams to report progress and improve product quality.
