Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Southeast region team, with the opportunity to work from Cary, Charlotte, or Greensboro, North Carolina. The role focuses on site civil design and project management for various projects, including industrial, pharmaceutical, and municipal facilities. The engineer will lead design and permitting efforts while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Strong communication with clients and project teams is essential to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
- 8 years or more of experience in site civil projects
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE License in North Carolina
- Experience in land development projects and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Lead site civil design and permitting efforts for various facilities
- Manage the planning, design, and permitting process to ensure compliance with contracts and specifications
- Communicate closely with clients to establish clear goals and objectives for project teams
- Supervise and support the work of others while mentoring junior engineers and technical staff
- Navigate local and state permitting requirements to obtain regulatory approval for projects
