Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager with over 10 years of experience to lead water and wastewater projects in the Hampton Roads and Mid-Atlantic region. This role will be based in Virginia Beach and involves working with a respected team to execute a healthy project backlog while driving growth in the area. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in conveyance and distribution projects and have a proven track record in project management and business development. • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• P.E. License and ability to acquire PE Licensure in Virginia within 6 months.
• Strong project management experience with municipal water or wastewater projects.
• Excellent technical writing skills and communication abilities.

• Lead and direct the development of water and wastewater projects as a client-facing project manager.
• Manage the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Communicate with clients to establish goals and objectives for project teams.
• Provide technical expertise on multi-disciplined projects as a design leader or technical advisor.
• Supervise and mentor junior level engineers and technical staff.
• Lead teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects, including preparation of winning proposals.
