Job description

As a Project Water Engineer at Arcadis, you will focus on evaluating, planning, and designing stormwater and resiliency projects. You will work within a team dedicated to improving quality of life through sustainable engineering solutions. Your role will involve technical analyses, fieldwork, and supporting professional engineering services during construction. You will also collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure effective communication and resolution of technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering
  • PE Certification
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or other design software
  • Experience with stormwater management calculations and green infrastructure design

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of stormwater and resiliency projects
  • Perform fieldwork activities such as site visits and water quality analyses
  • Support professional engineering services during construction including review of shop drawings
  • Manage tasks as a project resource to meet budget, timeframe, and quality objectives
  • Liaise with project managers and clients to ensure effective communication on project matters
  • Review completed engineering work to ensure it meets specified standards
