The Systems Development Engineer at Amazon Robotics will focus on developing cloud-native software solutions for commissioning and testing robotic systems. This role involves creating robust applications that enhance the efficiency and reliability of robotics testing tools, leveraging AWS services. The team is composed of engineers who work collaboratively to integrate software components into larger robotics ecosystems. This position offers the opportunity to innovate in software architecture while contributing to the future of automation.
Requirements
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and SQS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain critical cloud-based software solutions for robotics commissioning and testing infrastructure.
- Design and implement robust, scalable applications that power robotics testing tools.
- Create sophisticated automated testing frameworks and cloud-native continuous integration pipelines.
- Develop AWS-powered tools for data analysis, visualization, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into larger robotics ecosystems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to cloud architecture discussions.
