Requirements
- Proficiency with GIT and software repository management tools
- Experience building dashboards and scripting in Python
- Experience in chassis control or vehicle dynamics development is preferred
- Prior experience and passion for ADAS system control development
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of automotive hardware and software development concepts including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment and collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety concepts and testing-related safety procedures
- Clean driving record with professional experience driving prototype test vehicles in test tracks
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components on various vehicle platforms
- Support data analysis using Python and create dashboards to characterize driving behavior based on data
- Approach problem solving with a data-driven approach and deep-dive into vehicle log data and source code as needed
- Collaborate with perception, planning, and systems teams to integrate automated driving systems components
- Familiarize with system and component level requirements for features and hardware components
- Identify, document, and highlight cross-functional gaps and dependencies while working towards creative solutions
- Prototype tools and solutions to accommodate rapid development and improve efficiency
- Review vehicle data and correlate it with requirements to find gaps and implement engineering solutions
- Incorporate automation and leverage AI to enhance efficiency and accelerate development
