Job description

The Amazon Security Platform Engineering team is focused on providing tools that enhance security across Amazon's cloud and services. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain platform services and features using AWS to build highly scalable solutions.
  • Automate deployments, upgrades and system changes to ensure continuous operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their use cases and build solutions to automate their workflows.
  • Enable customers to automate security tasks and track success metrics using our tooling.
  • Participate in on-call operations to ensure system reliability and continuity across the company.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance skills in software development, cloud computing and security.
