Job description

As a Data Engineer in the WW Pricing Data & Analytics team, you will create data models and ML data infrastructure that enhance pricing algorithms and improve customer and seller experiences. You will work with complex data to optimize service performance and support business initiatives. Your role involves developing data flows and GenAI-based solutions to improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate with software engineering teams to transform data and understand customer intentions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience
  • 1+ years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes
  • 1+ years of experience with OLAP technologies
  • 1+ years of experience with data modeling
  • 1+ years of experience using SQL
  • 1+ years of experience using Oracle
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
  • Experience with non-relational databases or data stores

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement next generation data pipelines and BI solutions
  • Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, and Lambda
  • Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs
  • Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources
  • Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
