• 7+ years of related technical engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 4+ years related technical engineering experience
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 3+ years related technical engineering experience
• Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

• Provide make-versus-buy recommendations to management based on various tradeoffs.
• Create robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and verification plans.
• Develop and implement solutions to complex technical and design challenges.
• Write internal device specification sheets and interpret complex details for hardware features.
• Review documentation to ensure appropriate test requirements are included in designs.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans for complex feature areas or products.
• Generate project implementation schedules and monitor performance against them.
• Communicate project progress and escalate issues as necessary.
• Document complex details about materials and components for devices.
