Requirements
- 7+ years of related technical engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 4+ years related technical engineering experience
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field AND 3+ years related technical engineering experience
- Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide make-versus-buy recommendations to management based on various tradeoffs.
- Create robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and verification plans.
- Develop and implement solutions to complex technical and design challenges.
- Write internal device specification sheets and interpret complex details for hardware features.
- Review documentation to ensure appropriate test requirements are included in designs.
- Develop, review, and execute test plans for complex feature areas or products.
- Generate project implementation schedules and monitor performance against them.
- Communicate project progress and escalate issues as necessary.
- Document complex details about materials and components for devices.
