Tesla is seeking a driven Software Engineer to design and build end-to-end applications for the People organization. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to improve functionality through user testing and development, focusing on the entire application development process.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related or equivalent experience
• Experience with a statically typed language such as Golang or a dynamically typed language such as Python
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/React or other frontend frameworks
• Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex technical problems
• Experience using common design patterns; high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance
• Experience creating, maintaining, and shipping web applications is preferred

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to transform ambiguous problem statements into clear objectives, developing applications to drive improvements for internal processes
• Design, code, deliver, and maintain web experiences end-to-end
• Optimize code for performance, stability, and maintainability
