Job description
This role involves working within a validation infrastructure team to design electrical engineering solutions for hardware-in-the-loop platforms. The engineer will translate high-level validation requirements into hardware solutions, support vehicle engineering, and assist in troubleshooting efforts.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with PCBA schematics and datasheets
- Experience in PCB fabrication and design for manufacturing techniques
- Familiarity with PCB layout completion and BOM generation
- Working knowledge of data acquisition, DC circuits, and mixed-signal types
- Basic literacy in Python and exposure to embedded Linux on ARM architecture
Responsibilities
- Design and produce electrical schematics for hardware-in-the-loop test infrastructure
- Design, layout, and route custom PCBA for mixed signal validation
- Provide design support between end users and internal technician teams
- Assist in PCBA and HIL infrastructure bring-up and debugging
- Coordinate with engineers to develop high-level requirements for validation technologies
- Collaborate with cross-organizational teams to improve test infrastructure reliability
