Job description
The PLM Analyst will work with Design Engineering and NPI Program Management teams to support vehicle and energy programs from design to production. Responsibilities include processing change orders, ensuring accurate bill of materials, and training cross-functional teams on processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of relevant work in engineering systems
- Experience with PLM tools, (Enovia / 3DX Experience) change control, configuration management, in manufacturing environments is preferred
- Understanding of bill of materials structures and configuration, change control, and product lifecycle management standards
- Hands-on experience with PLM, MRP, or ERP systems, with knowledge of ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE as an advantage
- Experience leading training sessions, process audits, or cross-functional compliance initiatives is a plus
- Strong skills in end-user support and problem resolution
- Ability to manage overlapping projects and adapt to shifting priorities within tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft office business tools (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of bill of materials, key components, and PLM team processes to identify improvement areas and make informed decisions
- Lead the analysis, validation, and processing of engineering Change Actions, including design modifications, material substitutions, and configuration updates while maintaining adherence to standard processes
- Monitor change status in real time and proactively escalate delays or risks to program leads
- Support the construction and change management of multi-level bills of material as required
- Deliver ad-hoc training on the change control process to engineers and operations teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate processing of changes
- Monitor adherence to processes by internal teams and provide guidance as needed
- Review and process requests to maintain alignment with company standards
