Tesla is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for its Service Distribution Group. The role involves analyzing labor requirements, developing workforce plans, and implementing best practices to optimize labor resources in a warehousing environment.

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of related experience in warehouse management, materials management, or project management
• Analytical capabilities including data analysis to optimize warehouse processes
• Proficiency in creating and reading 2D layouts in AutoCAD
• Mastery of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SQL, Tableau, MOST Engineering standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
• Problem solving ability in cross-functional and multi-cultural environment

• Assess current labor productivity and performance metrics and analyze workforce data
• Develop and implement labor plans that align with operational goals and budget constraints
• Collaborate with stakeholder teams to maximize operational efficiency of the Warehouse team
• Manage continuous improvement resources to drive change through data and Engineering efforts
• Design and optimize material flow conveyance routes and facility layouts
• Manage issue resolution and develop corrective actions for process inefficiencies
• Develop and maintain material flow data/plans applying concepts of PDCA and Lean methodologies
